I made some lovely almond milk this morning. I know people say they can’t be bothered but it took less than 5 minutes and you can make a batch to last you a few days.
I was inspired by Anna Middleton‘s recipe so thought I’d give it a go. Shop bought almond milk can have a lot of processed rubbish in it and added sugar, so this simple and healthy recipe is a great way to make your own and still help the cows!
- 100g almonds (soaked overnight)
- 400ml of filtered water
- vanilla (as much as you like)
- 3 dates
- pinch of salt
- blend and then squeeze through a nut bag
