When you fancy something sweet its best to try and make healthier alternatives. Make a big batch of something you like and store in an air tight container for when you get those sweet little cravings.

I will be snacking on these bars before and after the gym, but honestly they’d be good any time for any reason. I didn’t eat peanut butter for a couple years because I thought almond butter was healthier or something, but now that I’m back on the PB train I shake my head at having ever left. IT’S SO YUMMY. And it’s perfectly healthy: with a decent amount of protein, fibre, and all that fun stuff. Comparatively it’s pretty much the same as any other nut butter, as far as I can tell. And anyways: life is too short to abstain from peanut butter / things you love.
