Trying to cut down on meat consumption is important nowadays. We need to consider animal welfare, the environment and our health. Its hard to give up meat when you’ve spent your whole life eating it. I find compromise works well for me. I don’t eat anything with a face more than three times per week. I definitely feel slimmer, healthier and less guilty by doing this. It gives me flexibility when around meat eaters that can’t appreciate vegetarians, and gives me choice when I want it.
I feel mixed about corn products as they are processed. However, a balance of a variety of food is fine with me. I’m not eating these products everyday and they really help me avoid meat which is important to me. I find lots of flavour is needed, but then you can make a very delicious meal.
- Bolognese sauce – fry in coconut oil, onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic, paprika, pepper, salt, stock and quorn mince.
- I had some brown rice, corn on the cob and a nice green salad.
- Its Important to have raw food with everything you eat, then your body is getting all the nutrients it needs.
- Enjoy!
